Please sign my petition it is for Amazon to make their Kindle Fires be accessible for people with a physical or learning disability. Currently, Kindle Fire does not have text-to speech and braille support that leaves many people in a disadvantage while the world is becoming more digital. I do not think this is right and feel that Amazon is discriminating people with a disability causing technology that SHOULD be helping people with a disability but instead leaving them further and further behind.
Please sign this if you feel that this is not right.

Thank you

I believe the other Kindles have text to speech and the Fire does have audible.  While I agree that it is always good to develop technology to allow for greater accessibility by a greater percentage of the population, I hardly think that Amazon is "discriminating" against anyone.  Heck, one could make the argument that they are discriminating against people with low incomes who cannot afford to drop $200 on a Fire.

I found out that ez pdf reader pro has text too speech and it works great with pdf books

It should be easy for Amazon too add text to speech to their e-book reader.

Those Audible books on Audible.com are expensive as hell.

I don't understand what you mean by braille support.
