Everyone,
Kindle Fire has gotten popularity majorly recently.
Sales have been beating samsung tablets and is a good rival for the iPad 2.
I see more commercials of kindle fire as well.

There will even start selling Kindle Fire in Japan.

And is it me or has anyone else been hearing about the new Kindle Fire?
The one said to be coming out in May of 2012.

It is said to be bigger (approx. 9 inches)
And is a more 'tablet' type of kindle then an e-reader.
Names have been rumored as kindle color.

I would like to know the details as soon as possible.
If it gets leaked.

Yes, it is pretty big on the news right now (if we pertain to e-reader news, i.e. ). But as far as confirmation goes, there aren't any. Although it is likely that a new Kindle Fire will be released soon, it is only speculation that it will conform to the specs mentioned in the news.

There's already been some discussion about this point so I'm repeating myself, but I think the current KF is already more "tablet type" than an ereader considering all of its other content consumption capabilities.

Yes, I've been seeing different posts on different forums for KF that a so-called Kindle Fire 2 will be released early this year.

Anyone have any ideas aside from the bigger screen any possible updates? My kindle fire seems pretty solid thus far
